About Us    The Idea ellie bellies is an idea that I have had for a long time now. I have had some time at home recently and decided to just go for it. I have been working on the art and the ideas for almost four years now. I have always loved stationery and anything that is personalized...maybe that runs in the family or maybe it is because I am a Southern girl! It seems like there is a lost art of hand-written correspondence in today's world of technology.   The Name Anybody that knows me can quickly figure out where the name of ellie bellies comes from! My daughter "Ellie" was born almost five years ago and has been a blessing in my life ever since!   The Butterfly One of my dearest friends in life once told me that wherever a butterfly lands it brings blessings. As she was telling me the story, a butterfly landed on me. A week later, I found out that Ellie was on her way!   My Blessings I have been blessed numerous times in my life...not only by Ellie, but by my wonderful husband, a new baby son, three beautiful step-daughters...and the list goes on and on...
